Something totally amazing has happened, I was featured in Reno Magazine! I knew that this magazine was one of the most well designed local publications around, but Wow! I didn't expect that it was going to look so beautiful! Cat did an amazing job putting this one together and I am very excited about it! I am very thankful for the great opportunities that are coming my way!

I spent the afternoon running many errands and getting ready for my show this weekend. I am looking forward to getting out of town and taking a break. I will be spending a day in Colfax with the in laws for a day before my journey to Sacramento.

Clever Feature

I am featured in Clever Magazine this month. Wow what a wonderful surprise! Today is a low key day. I am not feeling 100%, so I am spending my time in bed drawing up ideas and trying to get as much rest as I can. Hopefully tomorrow I will be back to work. I listed a new zippered wristlet last night.

Happy New Year to all of you! I am happy to announce that I am featured in Clever magazine this month in the Editors Picks. This is a great local magazine featuring shopping in the area. If you would like to see a flash preview of the magazine you can see this months issue here



Here is the Editors Picks page. You can see my cuff tucked among the sunflower stoneware dishes. I have been working lots on the new blog for our local Reno group and have made quite a few graphics for everyone. Its so cool to hear from everyone interested in joining and so far we still have lots to figure out with the whole team thing. I am hearing we may change the name etc so everything is sort of up in the air right now - Will keep you posted with all that is happening with that as I know more about it.

Today I will be working on some red heart coin purses for the downtown LaBussola boutique. Perfect for Valentine's Day which will be here before you know it. Later this afternoon I will be working on a bag for BunnyB who is from Malaysia. She won my handbag giveaway a while back and now that the holiday has given me a little more time, I will be working on that for her. I want to thank her for being so patient and for all the nice e-mails that she has sent me since then. -- well, off to the cold cold garage to get busy working. Progress picks coming soon.

Tutorial and Interview for New Blog

I will be busy working on my interview today from Ashley for our new blog. I will post the link here when I am done.
Also, I will be working on making a short tutorial(video or photos) on how add a zipper pocket to a bag or anything you might want to add one to. I was always a little nervous about learning this at the beginning, but after doing it once, its really very easy.

A Sunny Treasury

I am featured in a another treasury that was put together by yalipaz for Etsy. I love the bright yellows and oranges. Makes me think of the sunshine and the sunny days of springtime.

I am excited to learn that I was my leather cuff was chosen for one of the Editor's Pick's in the January Issue of Clever Magazine. As soon as I get more information on it I will post it here with some photographs.

I had a nice Christmas. My niece loved her bag and now it's time to get back to work. I will be focusing on up coming merchandise for Valentines Day and also some new pieces for the gallery. I will also be working on BunnyB's bag:) and will be posting some progress photos of that in a slideshow.

I found a big basket out thrifting today which I painted and made a nice sign for. It will be filled with crochet hats for the La Bussola boutique downtown. I will be doing a little crochet getting ready for the cold. Yikes! Its suppose to get down to the 30's on Friday. If you have a chance, stop on by and check out the work of local artists from the Reno area.
