Very similar to my last creation in pink, this blue python printed leather case is equally beautiful. Something fun about the materials that I used to make both cases are that they came from someone somewhere at Brighton handbags:) Apparently they had some small bits of left over materials and vendor leather scraps laying around that needed a home:) I am happy to be able to do just that!! I created a new flower clasp case; this time in a shiny brown mink vinyl.
I made a case using the same small leather flowers I used for the last cuff and necklace I made. I may be doing some small and large messenger bags with this pattern or something similar on the front. I think they would look great on a bag.
I added a new case to my shop today. I think I may have found a winner as far as size goes. I have already found many uses for it. It's double the width of my Ipod cases and also has an inside zipper which would be very handy. I may be making a few of these for myself:) I could really use one of these. These would also make really nice gifts.
I finished a cheetah case made with some scrap ultrasuede fabric and black vinyl. It will be in my newer Etsy shop for a few days and then will be going to the downtown LaBussola boutique. I have been working on many items to take with me. I have about 15 crocheted hats so far and a big assortment of Ipod cases and cuffs. These will make great holiday gifts all under $25. Its been a little slow with trying to do that and also create new items for my Etsy shops. I really could use more hours in the day!

Made about 3 cases for the downtown art boutique today. This one is a celestial case and I am going to start beading it shortly with some gold and colored beads. I like this blue fabric- it looks like stars and is somewhat silky. I may be making one for my etsy shop as well. I am in the making cases mode and will remain here for the next few days. There is lots to do!
Made another case for my shop today. Pulled over 35 items from both of my shops today to take to a boutique in town. I spent the afternoon pricing and tagging everything. I'm officially worn out! Tomorrow is going to be a fun day of hunting for more fabrics. Hope to get lots of new and fresh materials to work with!
I added 2 new cases to my bargain shop today. I will be focusing on making more cuffs and cases as I plan for the holidays. Its nice to mix things up and work on something different other than handbags. Handbags take so much work especially with the amount of detail that I put into each one. Maybe this little break is just what I need ; then time to come up with some more great bags. 12 more days until a winner is selected to receive a custom bag from me. Looks like their is about 35 entries so far. Looking forward to it.
Here is the fall case I mentioned that I was working on last night. I finished it up and its now listed for sale in my shop. I used my favorite technique on this one with recycled fused dyed dryer sheets. Its fun to use this style because it is not a rigid or structured type of art and allows me to just have a little more fun than I usually do. Then the fun part is putting down the free motion stitches adding texture.
I decided to make a new case for my bargain shop this morning. Today is a day full of fabric collage so I don't have much time to work on any thing else other than small things. Its crazy, while making the case I realized I forgot how they are made. I had to pull an old case from my shop and look at it to remember. I am good now, I figured it out. I guess I need to type myself some written instructions lol , so that I don't forget completely. These are the best cases, I don't know why I stopped making them. I think that with the holidays coming it would be a good idea to stock my shop up on some of these. They are really good sellers, just not something I have been interested in lately. I fluctuate on things a lot depending on my moods etc.. So with all that said, I think that it would be a good idea to work on some fun designs for some new cases. My mini brochures are being printed this week. I am very excited about it:) I am sure I already said that! Well, time to get some fabric collage done:)!!
