Gray Laptop Tote and Handbag

Here is the progression with the bag I started today which is now completed. I began with a solid piece of soft gray vinyl and quilted it with soft polyester batting. The I used gray leather slightly lighter than the main bag for handles and attached them with more leather strips and rivets. I used a tun lock clasp for the closure. I am very happy with how it came out. I think it is amazing at how you can just alter and tweak a few details from another bag and you end up with an entirely different look. This is the same pattern I used for Tuesday Sept.16th's bag.(orange and brown)
