I decided to create a blog so that I can share more happenings and details with you as I progress in my new business. Please feel free to leave comments and share your thoughts. I'd love to hear from you.

The holidays have been very busy for me, as I enjoy making handmade gifts for everyone in the family. It tends to wear me out a lot but I know that the family really appreciates it.
Now its time to get back to work and start posting some new items. I just finished making a new IPod case last night.

These have been very popular. I really enjoy the free motion stitching designs. Its something new that I will doing more of. I have a large floral piece that I have been working on which I intend to make as a decorative wall hanging. You can see that it is still in the working process here. There is still lots of hand beading to do. After joining an art quilting group of some very talented ladies, I have become very adventurous in the techniques that I am trying out. I tend to use more upholstery fabrics and they are more traditional so its a nice mix. This is a secret technique that I started doing and have decided that I like it so much that I will be creating new items and art using this style.

Well, back to my studio. Its time to get some work done. Just wanted to share whats new.
Its snowing and very cold outside. These are the days you want to stay inside with a cup of hot tea and sew.
I have been thinking of the summer and my garden and how I miss it.
