I woke up this morning wanting to give the front page of my website a new look. I used watercolors and painted some flowers and leaves in sepia color, then scanned the final and adjusted the color in photoshop. I really like the look. I plan on changing the look again within the next few months as I acquire new images of my work.
It's been forever since I have posted anything on my blog. I have been busy busy! Here is part of what I have been working on for the last week . I am making good progress; and still have 5 larger bags to finish. I love the color combinations of all of these. This is a nice application that I found online through a friend. Its a flash viewer that is free to use on your website. All you have to do if replace some of the coding with your own graphics and text and upload to your server. I love playing around with this sort of thing. I always learn something new. Today is going to be another beautiful day. Its suppose to be around 60, yay! I have been so so cold. I'm really done with the snow. One day I am wearing my bathing suit and then the next day I am wearing my jeans and scarf and down jacket. You never know with Reno!
I worked some more on my website today. I want to make changes to the entire site and little by little I will be adding more photos and working on better organization and easier navigation. This page is the main page when you enter the website from the main page. Eventually I will do the same thing with Seasonal, Art, and Clothing. It may take awhile, but eventually I'll get there.
I worked a little on the accessories section of my website today.The pictures aren't permanent yet, I just needed something quickly to start with. I think I created a monster site with a million pages to update. There is just so much I like to do and cannot possibly think about limiting myself to only listing my handbags for sale:) so I have created a lot of work for myself here and although I do get worn out, I really do enjoy it.
I am currently working on a new larger case with a leather flower as the clasp which I will be posting soon.
I decided to start a Featured Artists Page on my website and would like to start interviewing people who are interested. I will start featuring artists in a few weeks so if you "make things" and would like to be featured on your own page(this page will stay up - even after you are featured). The categories I have so far are listed in the black menu bar (click on screen capture). If you are interested send me an e-mail along with information about what you do and any links to websites with photos of your work. If you are an Etsy seller please send me your username too. I will then send you interview questions for you to answer and/or short bio. Hope to hear from you soon.

I worked "a lot " on my website yesterday and made many changes. I added some new masts so that it is easier to navigate and find things. I wasn't the happiest with how it was previously. I also added an art section and many more links. I will be adding some pictures of newer bags soon and will be taking down some of the "sold bags" and cleaning it up more as I have free time.
