Black Gray and White

Here are some new black, white and gray cuffs that I worked on today for a custom order. I made a few verisons to give my client more options and to have a couple extras to list in my online shop. It was fun to work with all black, white and gray today. I also made a crochet necklace with random cutout leather shapes in black and white.

More Leather Wristbands

I finished up a big batch of leather cuffs today. These will be going downtown in LaBussola and a few are available in my online Etsy shop.
I will be working on some other color combos to add to the mix for a greater selection.

New Gallery, Cuff and Swag

I added a new leather cuff to my shop and a new portfolio gallery of some of my work to my website. I am currently working on swag for the Indie Sacamento trunk show on the 2nd of May. FREE swag bags to the first 150 patrons on this day.

Flower Cuffs

I made a couple flower cuff bracelets tonight and started working on another sunflower tote. Progress pictures will be posted tomorrow.

New Cuff

Making more progress on the new leather bag. I added a turn lock pocket to the reverse of the bag and added some flower accents to help tie in the theme of the other side. I will be moving forward with attaching the sides and bottom and
doing some research on different braiding techniques because I think I may be making the handle this way. I finished a cuff bracelet in the same colors as the bag today as I was trying to get in the mood to work. Another beautiful day out. I started my day off with a blade run at 9:00 this morning on the river. It was so beautiful. I have been taking advantage of the spring like weather as much as possible. Looks like we are suppose to be getting rain tomorrow. More photos coming soon on the progress of new bag.

Red and Cream Leather Cuff Bracelet

New red and cream leather bracelet. I am working on a teal and cream bracelet which will be posted soon. I'd like to get some brighter and more vibrant colors up in my shop. I was even thinking about making some cuffs from the recycled plastic bags and embellish them with some stitching and misc objects.

New Cuffs and Recycled Etsy Treasury

My recycled clutch is featured in a treasury that SassySashadoxie has put together. I think this one is fun with all the recyclables. I posted another flower cuff last night and have a full day ahead of cuff making. I am ready to add some new styles and designs to my shop and get ready for spring.

A Very Productive Day

I have a new featured artist on my website. Her name is Eugenia Mancini Horan. She is into all kinds of different art and is very inspirational as well. She is a model and a photographer, but she takes her own photos of herself which is very different. You can read her interview here.






This morning I made 2 new leather cuffs (the one on the right is a custom order and I thought the purple was nice so I made it for my shop. After making the cuffs I went a meeting downtown for our "Handmade Hustlers" group. I was so surprised by all the artists that made it. It was great to see all their faces in person and get a chance to talk. I am so excited about all the opportunities for all of us












I also got the chance to finally meet Paige Warner. She makes the most amazing purses out of skateboards and will be a featured artist in our show which takes place on March 8 at LaBussola. I got a chance to take some pictures of her work to share with you. Aren't her purses awesome!!! The skateboard purse pictured here is one of my favorites. Busy • Busy • Busy

I have been so busy the last week that I havent been keeping up with my blog here. I am getting ready for a show which I am designing the postcards and flyers for, I just recieved a custom order for 10+ purses and I am making an artist pencil wrap for someone. I am trying to finish up a bag for the winner of my handbag giveaway and also trying to get some new items up in my accessory shop. I am planning for another event coming up real quick here as well. So things are just a little busy right now. I am not complaining at all, though, its nice to be busy.

New Cuffs

The power was out today for about 3 hours so that stirred up some excitement. Always does, not able to use the sewing machine or computer, if fact I was in the middle of uploading a new calendar to our new team blog when it happened. My work space(garage) has no windows so it was very dark. I tried candles but not enough light so I decided to do some reading and picked up my "Vein of Gold" book. One of these days I am going to really sit down and start doing all the work - its a fantastic book and I highly recommend it to all creative's, artists, writers, etc. So I was not able to get all that I wanted to get done today, but there is always tomorrow. I made 2 new cuffs and they are listed in my accessory shop. I will begin working on a bag tomorrow and also work on some more hearts.

New Flower Cuff

I made a new cuff for my uniques Etsy shop. I pulled most of my merchandise from my bargain shop and also the uniques shop and they are downtown at the LaBussola boutique. I am very excited to have been accepted as a new artist there.

Along with the cuffs there is a total of 19 crochet hats that I also made for the boutique ranging from children to adults. I made some cute black hats for little ones with cat ears on top. Perfect for Halloween and the cold weather coming.

Leather Heart Cuff

Here I was experimenting with some other shapes besides flowers and chose hearts. It is now available at LaBussola Boutique in downtown Reno or by contacting me via e-mail.

More Leather Jewelry Creations

Playing around, I created a leather cuff with flowers all around it; I like this one a lot! The necklace was made using a unique slider construction so you can position the flowers wherever you want.
