New Leather Handbag

I am getting ready for a show tomorrow at ArtSource Gallery and was really excited to find these old racks in the attic a few days ago which will really help me out with the whole display. I started making another bag last night out of this chestnut brown leather. I constructed the pockets and buckles this afternoon and now I am applying the zipper. The bag should be finished tomorrow sometime - I have come to a stopping point for tonight but will have some completion photos to share tomorrow. I am looking forward to the weekend because my workspace is a complete mess and needs a lot of attention. Its been a busy month for me and I am looking forward to slowing down a bit.














Here is the leather bag I am working on right now. One side of the bag, liner and zipper are sewn together and ready for the other side. This is a very large and heavy bag which will have a rope handle when its finished. I am happy with how this new bag is coming out and may be creating others in this style soon
