Messenger Bag Construction

I am in the process of making a messenger bag with some tiered leather flowers and stems. I want to make some small and some large messengers to go along with the cuffs and cases I have made in this line. The background is a red vinyl. I am making the flowers in black, brown and red. I thought it might be fun to make the strap with some accents of flowers as well, I haven't decided; might be too much.
